Technical Team Leader

Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
Hours: Fulltime, permanent Monday - Friday
Salary: Competitive

Our client is looking for a Technical Team Leader to join their established team in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

You will work with production, engineering, and logistics departments to enhance production processes and food safety whilst leading cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a technical management role within the dairy industry or similar chilled food sector.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Team Leader

• Oversee and manage all technical aspects of processes.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including HACCP, BRC and local food standards authorities.
• Develop and implement quality control protocols and food safety measures.
• Collaborate with all departments to enhance production processes and food safety.
• Train staff on new technology and protocols.
• Ensure all quality management systems and document control processes are up to date.
• Handle any technical issues that arise in a timely manner.
• Corroborate all quality processes and systems comply with internal standards linking with European head office and international requirements.

Key Skills of a Technical Team Leader

• Degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in a technical management role within the dairy industry or similar chilled food sector.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety regulations.
• Experience in the FMCG sector.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
